Therapy Rooted in Self-Trust, Compassion, and Clarity
Hi, I’m Molly.
I believe therapy works best when it feels both safe and real. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of being human.
I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, no performing, no minimizing, no pressure to “have it all together.” Healing doesn’t happen through judgment or rigid rules; it happens through connection, understanding, and feeling genuinely supported.
I bring warmth and humor into the therapy room because laughter and lightness can coexist with deep, meaningful work. Humor isn’t used to bypass pain, but to soften it to make difficult conversations feel more approachable and to remind you that you are more than the hardest moments you’ve lived through. Therapy doesn’t have to feel sterile or intimidating to be effective.
At the same time, I am highly focused on skill-building and practical tools. Insight is important, but it’s not always enough on its own. Together, we work on developing skills that help you regulate emotions, set boundaries, tolerate discomfort, communicate more effectively, and respond to stress in ways that feel more aligned with who you are and who you want to be. These are tools meant to support you not just in session, but in your everyday life.
A core part of my work is helping clients strengthen their inner resilience. This means learning how to stay present during hard moments, trust your internal signals, and reconnect with your own sense of direction especially if you’ve spent much of your life prioritizing others or doubting yourself. We focus on building a relationship with yourself that is grounded in compassion rather than criticism, and steadiness rather than urgency.
I understand that many people come to therapy carrying patterns shaped by earlier experiences whether that’s trauma, grief, chronic stress, or environments where emotional safety wasn’t consistently available. My approach is trauma-informed and paced with care, honoring the fact that healing is not linear and does not follow a timeline. We move at a speed that feels respectful of your nervous system, your capacity, and your lived experience.
Above all, I view therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your life; my role is to walk alongside you, offer perspective, ask thoughtful questions, and provide tools that support meaningful change. My hope is that through our work together, you leave therapy not only with greater insight, but with increased confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges, care for yourself with intention, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
Who I Work With
I provide online therapy for teens and adults navigating:
-
Self-worth and confidence concerns
-
Relationship challenges and boundary setting
-
Emotional regulation, anger, and stress
-
ADHD and executive functioning difficulties
-
Identity shifts and life transitions
-
Grief, loss, and unresolved emotional pain
Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply caring. They often appear strong on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside. Therapy is where we make room for both.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach blends warmth, honesty, and evidence-based care. I tailor therapy to your goals rather than following a rigid formula.
In our work together, you can expect:
-
A collaborative, nonjudgmental relationship
-
Practical tools you can use in everyday life
-
Space to explore emotions without pressure or rushing
-
Support in building self-compassion and self-trust
-
Honest reflection paired with genuine care
I draw from relational, attachment-based, compassion-focused, and feminist perspectives, as well as CBT, DBT, ACT, and coaching-informed approaches. The focus is always on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in how you move through the world.
Testimonial
“Molly provides the perfect balance of warmth and challenge to our sessions together. It took me quite a few therapists before I met with Molly, and she made me feel comfortable to bring my whole self to our appointments. She has created a safe space with no judgement and goes above and beyond just our sessions. Sometimes she’ll send articles she comes across that she thinks may be helpful which shows she keeps her patients top of mind well beyond the 1 hour appointments. It may sound silly but Molly truly listens and is extremely thoughtful which is rarer than I expected in this field, and I am so thankful to be working with her.”

A Little About Me
Current favorite color: Olive green.
(Though burgundy and maroon will always be my favorites.)
Feel-good song: Always changing but you can assume it’s something I can hum along to or bounce to with my daughter.
Favorite seasons:
Spring because I love a good new beginnings moment.
Fall give me cozy weather, flannels, warm coffee, and long walks outside and I’m happy.
Favorite hobby: Boxing and kickboxing.
Fun fact: I boxed until the day before my daughter was born. (Yes, really.)
Favorite places I’ve traveled:
The Galapagos, where nature feels unreal, and Boston, because small-city energy is absolutely my vibe.
Favorite food: Anything with cheese.
Quesadillas? Yes.
Baked ziti? Yes.
Pretty much anything cheesy? Always yes.
Favorite animals:
A bear: strong, grounded, protective, and somehow soft at the same time.
An elephant: smart and intelligent taking time to study those in their paths. Giving most the benefit of the doubt first.

My Heart In This Work
My favorite part of being a therapist is getting to bear witness to people’s experiences. I value being someone clients feel safe to be themselves, breathe, and be human. Not everyone has had that, and I never take it for granted.
What I Believe
You don’t have to fully understand someone’s story to be kind.
You just have to honor their experience.
